Описание:
Если вам не хватает кнопок на девайсе, и вы заняты делом, при котором не собираетесь никуда звонить — запустите GreenButton — она временно переназначит действие на нажатие зеленой кнопки (иначе известной как кнопка «говорить») . Повторный запуск программы возвратит все в исходное состояние.
Варианты запуска:

• программа может быть выполнена из командной строки. Создать линк. (этот пример будет выполнять Pocket IE при нажатии зеленой кнопки: GreenButton.lnk = 44 # «\ Program Files \ GreenButton \ GreenButton.exe» \ Windows \ iexplore.exe )
• измените параметр в реестре HKCU/Software/Supware.net/GreenButton: Run — укажите путь к нужной вам программе.
• Сотрите ярлык в автозагрузке, если вам не нужно постоянное переназначение клавиши.

Первоначально программа написана для iDialer и по умолчанию вызывает его вместо стандартной звонилки (если он установлен). GreenButton — программа c открытым исходным кодом . Работает в фоновом режиме (1KB)

Многие из нас стали задавать простой вопрос: как скачать, установить и сыграть в нашу любимую игру прямо на компьютере?

Если вы не любите маленькие экраны смартфона или планшета, то сделать это можно с помощью программы-эмулятора. С ее помощью можно создать на своем компьютере среду Android и через нее запустить приложение. На данный момент самыми популярными утилитами для этого являются: Bluestacks и NoxPlayer.

Установка Idle Green Button на компьютер с помощью Bluestacks

Bluestacks считается самым популярным эмулятором для компьютеров под управлением Windows. Кроме того, есть версия этой программы для Mac OS. Для того, чтобы установить этот эмулятор на ПК нужно, чтобы на нем была установлена Windows 7 (или выше) и имелось минимум 2 Гб оперативной памяти.

Установите и настройте Bluestacks. Если на компьютере нет Bluestacks, перейдите на страницу https://www.bluestacks.com/ru/index.html и нажмите зеленую кнопку «Скачать Bluestacks» посередине страницы. Щелкните по зеленой кнопке «Скачать» в верхней части следующей страницы, а затем установите эмулятор:

+ Windows: дважды щелкните по скачанному EXE-файлу, нажмите «Да», когда появится запрос, щелкните по «Установить», нажмите «Завершить», когда эта опция станет активной. Откройте Bluestacks, если он не запустился автоматически, а затем следуйте инструкциям на экране, чтобы войти в свою учетную запись Google.

+ Mac: дважды щелкните по скачанному файлу DMG, дважды щелкните по значку Bluestacks, нажмите «Установить», когда будет предложено, разрешите устанавливать программы сторонних разработчиков (если понадобится) и нажмите «Продолжить». + Перейти на официальный сайт разработчика https://www.bignox.com/

+ Для того чтобы установить эмулятор Nox App Player, нажимаем на кнопку «СКАЧАТЬ».

+ Далее начнется автоматическая загрузка, по завершении которой необходимо будет перейти в папку «Загрузки» и нажать на установочный файл скачанной программы.

Установка и запуск программы:

+ Для продолжения установки необходимо в открывшемся окне нажать на кнопку «Установить». Выберите дополнительные параметры инсталляции, нажав на кнопку «Настроить», если вам это необходимо. Не снимайте галочку с пункта «Принять «Соглашение»», иначе вы не сможете продолжить.

+ После того как эмулятор будет установлен на компьютер, вы увидите на экране окно запуска, где необходимо будет нажать на кнопку «Пуск».

+ Все, на этом этапе установка эмулятора Nox App Player завершена. Для полноценной работы программы вам необходимо будет зайти в свой аккаунт Play Market — нажмите на иконку приложения в папке Google, введите логин и пароль от вашей учетной записи.

Загрузка и установка приложений: Для этого вам необходимо скачать файл приложения в формате APK и просто перетащить его на рабочий стол Nox App Player. После этого сразу начнется установка, по окончании которой вы увидите значок этого приложения на главном экране.

Change the Green Button Maximize Behavior in OS X Yosemite with BetterTouchTool

The Green Button in OS X window bars used to maximize windows to fit the Mac screen, but since OS X Yosemite the Green Button now sends windows or apps into full screen mode by default. This can be modified one-off by Option+Clicking the maximize button, but a better solution for some users is to permanently modify the behavior of the green maximize button to work like it used to instead.

To change the green button maximize behavior you will need to use BetterTouchTool, a free application for OS X that performs many other functions and neat tricks with the Mac trackpad and mouse, but for the purposes here we’re just using it to adjust window maximizing universally throughout OS X Yosemite.

Here’s how to get the old green button action back by default, this means you just have to click the green button in a window to maximize it rather than having to option+click or double-click the titlebars:

1. Download BetterTouchTool free here
2. Open BetterTouchTool and grant access to “Accessibility” when requested (this will open System Preferences)

Back in BetterTouchTool, click on the “Other” tab in the upper right of the app

Select “Global” from the left side options

Near the bottom, click on “Configure New Trigger”

In the “Trigger” pulldown menu, choose “Leftclick Green Window Button”

In the “Predefined Action” menu, choose “Zoom Window Below Cursor”

Flip back to the OS X Finder (or another open app) and click the green button, it should now simply maximize the window rather than send it into Full Screen Mode

Quit BetterTouchTool, the changes will stay in effect as long as you have BetterTouchTool configured this way, and as long as BetterTouchTool has access to control the computer through Security > Privacy > Accessibility

This is a little confusing and BetterTouchTool has a sort of weird interface until you get used to it, so if the above walkthrough isn’t clear then watch the complete process in the brief video tutorial below:

I’ve dug around and scoured for defaults write commands to change the green button behavior back to the old default in prior versions of OS X, but have yet to find anything other than this aforementioned approach offered in StackExchange forums that uses BetterTouchTool. If you know of a solution that doesn’t involve using a third party app, do let us know in the comments.

A Finder window is a basic, fundamental element of your Mac. When you open any folder or disk, including your hard disk, the Mac displays the contents of the folder in a Finder window. This chapter walks you through a number of short exercises so you’ll feel comfortable using these windows.

I assume you did the exercises in Chapter 2 so that you know how to click, press, press-and-drag, and maybe even Option-drag!

The basic window

Below you see a Finder window, sometimes called a Desktop window, the kind you’ll see when you open a folder or disk on the Desktop.

Later you’ll work with a document window, the kind you’ll see when you are using an application in which you create your work. The two types of windows are similar, but Finder windows have a few specific features.

You can tell this is a Finder window because when you click on it, the menu bar across the top of the monitor, just to the right of the apple, shows the word «Finder.» The Finder is the software that runs the Desktop, so all of the windows on the Desktop are considered Finder windows. Don’t let that confuse you—just think of the Desktop and the Finder as the same thing, for all practical purposes.

The items inside a Finder window might be shown as icons, as a list, or in columns, as explained on the following pages.

Who says there are no second acts?

Last year, I reported with great remorse the demise of The Green Button, a six-year-old user community specializing in Windows Media Center.

For reasons I didn’t understand (and still don’t), Microsoft had acquired the site years earlier and then abruptly decided to shut it down. The only saving grace was that many of the user forums were moved to The Windows Experts Community, ultimately landing in the Windows Entertainment and Connected Home section.

Much as I treasured The Green Button as a resource, I didn’t make that move myself. I didn’t like the look or format of the Experts Community, and the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth.

So imagine my delight in discovering that The Green Button has been reborn. Once again there’s an active place to ask questions, share information, discover new add-ons, read reviews, and vent frustrations (because, let’s face it, Windows Media Center can be frustrating).

Much like its predecessor, the new Green Button offers active forums on all things WMC: software, tuners, extenders (like the Xbox 360), Windows 8, and so on.

It’s also newly partnered with Ceton Corp., makers of the InfiniTV series of tuners, so you’ll find some just-added forums devoted to Ceton’s apps and hardware.

Suffice it to say, if you’re a Windows Media Center user, you’ll definitely want to bookmark this site. And spread the word, because the more people who join (or rejoin) the community, the better it will be.
