как узнать прошит ли данный модем, не будет ли при использование брать как в роуминге.

Подтверждаю: На Win 8 x86 и х64 не работает! Перепробовал все режимы совместимости. Грусностно.

на 8ке не пробовал. не понятно только почему два деления в режиме 3джи. работает со всеми опсосами.

попробую порыть прошивки.

и оффсайт видимо бросили, белье и реклама )))

Вот моя история:

Работал у мну этот модем и на ХР, и на 7, и 32, и 64 бита. Поставил 8-ку. Модем встал как положено. Пришлось прошить на версию 5.249.
Полёт был нормальный.

И вот я выкачал через официальный Windows Store «Windows 8.1». Качал через этот же модем. Лазил, лазил в нете через него. Всё было отлично. Я радовался как ребёнок. Потом в результате моих экспериментов с левыми дровами винда стала выкидывать крендели. Я решил её снести и установить на чистый винт, дабы не засорять компутер остатками старой операционки. Каково же было моё изумление, когда я, пытаясь установить ПО модема, увидел надпись, что данные дрова для этой оси не подходят. Я перепробовал все режимы совместимости, пытался тупо насильно впихнуть дрова в винду. Перерыл пол инета в поиске решения этой проблемы и глухо! Контора, их выпускавшая, кажется выпустила дух. Чего теперь делать ума не приложу. Симка у меня МТСовская. Официальный мтсовский модем работает отлично, а флаер сдох.( Наверно придётся покупать модем от мтс. Валуев будет рад. Печально однако.

Меня удивило, что модем работал на 8.1! То есть дрова нормальные. То есть причина неработоспособности оных кроется в какой-то искусственно созданной затычке типа проверки восьмёрки дров на наличие сертификата и отфутболивания всех не имеющих оного и чего-то похожего. Памятник поставлю тому, кто её отключит.

пардон за некропостинг) НО, у меня данный модем есть, мучился, не завёл, но я не пробовал 1 метод, как раз отключение проверки подписи дров.
Нажимаете мышкой «Перезагрузка» компьютера с ЗАЖАТОЙ клавишей Shift,и ждёте, пока надпись пропадёт «Завершение работы» и не появится синий экран (нет, не смерти)) , в общем увидите экран, там нужно пройти в настройки, не помню уж, как оно там, разберётесь, т.е в итоге там отключается проверка подписи драйверов, перезагружается компьютер, далее появится окно, выбор действия, выбираем «Отключение проверки подписи драйверов», заходим и пытаемся установить дровишки. В случае с Windows 8.1 стопорилась установка на Mobile Connector, как раз модем, выскакивала ошибка о несовместимости платформы, или что-то типа того. Хотя на 7 работали драйвера, в общем пробуйте, может поможет
