Популярная программа SketchUp для рисования трехмерных объектов как известно это программа для Windows системы. Но эта не проблема SketchUp запускается в linux под Wine без затруднений. Чтобы установить SketchUp 2019 Pro 64 bit в Linux надо сделать две вещи это установить и настроить Wine и запустить саму программу в wine.
Открываем терминал и вводим следующии команды. Включаем поддержку 32 — битной архитектуры:
Для установки программы нам нужен 64-битный Wine. Открываем файл .profile с помощью текстового редактора gedit. Вводим команду в терминале:
Откроется файл .profile и добавьте в него строку:
Сохраняем и закрываем файл.
Скачиваем последнюю версию Winetricks и запускаем:
chmod +x winetricks
Как только откроется окно Winetricks. В первом окне выбираем Select the default wineprefix и нажимаем OK. В следующем окне выбираем Install a Windows DLL or component и жмем OK. Откроется еще одно окно в котором ставим галочку на vcrun2015 подтверждаем установку нужной нам библиотеки и ждем какое то время пока установится vcrun2015.
Далее вводим в терминале:
В открывшемся окне на вкладке Applications устанавливаем версию Windows 8.1 Во вкладке Libraries добавьте библиотеку mfc140u.dll. Для этого в поле New override for library скопируйте название mfc140u и нажмите кнопку Add.
Заходим в папку куда скачался Framework 4.5.2 из этой папки запускаем терминал и печатаем:
или вы запустили терминал не из этой папки тогда допустим Framework 4.5.2 скачался в папку Downloads пишем в терминале:
и далее вводим команду wine NDP452-KB2901907-x86-x64-AllOS-ENU.exe
После того как установится Framework 4.5.2 останется только скачать и установить SketchUp 2019 Pro 64.
Устанавливаем SketchUp также как Framework 4.5.2 Заходим в папку куда скачался SketchUp и из этой папки запускаем терминал и вводим команду для установки программы.
Начнется процесс установки SketchUp 2019 Pro 64 после которого останется запустить программу иконкой на рабочем столе.

Sketchup for Linux would be great. This would ensure portability to future tech like netbooks and android phones.
There is still not a linux port for Google SketchUp though the stability and speed of linux is appreciable . So one should try to install it in Wine for a better result.

Install Sketchup 2017 64 bits on Linux Ubuntu 16.04 64 bits:
If the value is win64 you are good, if the value is win32 change it to win64. Save the file.
Ensure the environment variable also set to win64 by typing command:
5. Download winetricks:
Choose Select the default wineprefix, click OK
Choose Install a Windows DLL or component, click OK
Choose tab Applications, set Windows version to Windows 8.1
Choose tab Libraries, Add New override for library: mfc140u.dll
Click Cancel to quit winetricks
7. Download Sketchup 2017 Make 64 bit from https://www.sketchup.com/download/all
8. From nautilus, locate file SketchUpMake-en-x64.exe, highlight the file, right click, Open with Archive Manager and then extract file SketchUp2017-x64.msi
If Archive Manager says «An error occured while loading the archive», you need to install 7z first.
9. From terminal run:
10. Locate file SketchUp2017-x64.msi and double click to install.
11. In Destination folder change the installation folder to
C:\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 2017\
Click Next and then Install.
