MTR — бесплатное приложение, которое сочетает в себе функциональность трассировки и пинг в качестве инструмента для диагностики единой сети. При этом, вы сможете проверить потери пакетов и низкой скорости соединения, чтобы помочь в устранении неполадок программного обеспечения.

Хочу рассказать в своей статье «Установка mtr в Unix/Linux» как можно установить и пользоваться утилитой MTR в Unix/Linux.

2. Скачать и установить из исходного кода.

После этого, я добавлю алиас команды, для более удобного использования. Для этого, я открою файл и добавлю строчку:

Скопируйте данные (полезно, если вы хотите подать жалобу, например на вашего провайдера).

Вы можете сделать скриншот экрана с помощью:

• Command+Shift+3: Сделает скриншот экрана и сохранит его в виде файла на рабочем столе.
• Command+Shift+4, затем выберите площадь: Сделает скриншот области и сохранит его в виде файла на рабочем столе.

Loss % — все потерянные пакеты между компьютером и серверами.

SNT — количество отправленных пакетов.

LAST — Задержка последнего отправляемого пакета .

Avrg — Среднее время ожидания всех пакетов.

Best — Отображает лучший Round Trip Time для этого пакета на этом хосте (shortest RTT).

Disregard 100% — это сто процентная потеря если есть другие узлы, перечисленные после.

Wrst — Отображает худший Round Trip Time для этого пакета на этом хосте (longest RTT).

Опции программы MTR

Показать сводку параметры аргументов в командной строке :

-h
—help

Распечатать установленную версию:
-v
—version

Помещает mtr в режим отчета. В этом режиме, mtr обработает количество циклов, определенных опцией -c, затем отобразит статистику и завершит работу. Этот режим полезен для генерации статистики о качестве сети:

-r
—report

Установить количество циклов, после которых mtr завершит работу:

-c COUNT
—report-cycles COUNT

Размер посылаемых пакетов:

-p BYTES
—psize BYTES

Вынуждает mtr использовать curses based terminal interface если доступно:

-t
—curses

Используйте эту опцию, чтобы заставить МТР для отображения числовых число IP, а не пытаться разрешать имена хостов. Не использовать DNS. Отображать IP-адреса и не пытаться получить их хостнеймы:

-n
—no-dns

Используйте эту опцию, чтобы заставить МТР использовать GTK +, основанный на оконном интерфейсе X11 (если имеется). Примеры использования.

Выполнить MTR для домена

MTR работает в двух режимах, графический режим (X11) и текстовом режиме на основе (Ncurses). По умолчанию, команда mtr работает в режиме X11.

Запуск в текстовом режиме -curses

Используйте опцию «-curses» чтобы работать с mtr в терминальном режиме.

Исключить Обратный DNS с помощью «-no-DNS»

MTR находит имя хоста каждого маршрутизатора / узла с помощью обратного просмотра DNS. Если вы хотите, чтобы избежать выполнение обратного поиска DNS, используйте «-no-DNS» вариант.

Использовать mtr в режиме отчета с помощью «-report»

In this release we’ve worked through some bugs that were hanging around in our backlog. Some items we addressed include:

• Added background refresh for subscribed workspaces.
• Fixed an issue where the session window may jump to another monitor when auto-reconnect kicks in.
• Fixed an issue where the session window would sometimes be enlarged after connecting.
• Addressed an issue where the name of a redirected folder would be incorrect in the remote session.
• Fixed a bug that made it difficult to resize remote app windows.
• Improved the error messages that are displayed when user accounts fail to update.
• Fixed an issue where window titles in the list of connected remote apps were blank.
• Addressed a multimon issue where the mouse cursor shape would not update correctly when dragging between monitors.
• Added a checkbox to General Preferences to enable/disable Microsoft Teams optimizations.
• Added UI to report if a remote app could not be launched on the server due to not being on the system allow list.
• Fixed an issue where the session window could not be made wider when placed at the top or bottom of the screen.
• Addressed scenarios where the mouse cursor would disappear while connected to a remote PC.
• Deletion of an Azure Virtual Desktop workspace now correctly removes all associated workspaces.
• Fixed an issue where adding a folder to redirect to a bookmark would enable the «Add» button with an empty PC name.
• Addressed an issue where double-clicking the title bar incorrectly stretched the session window.
• Updated the mouse to change to a hand glyph when hovering over a red input error indicator.
• Fixed an issue where the session window would flash rapidly in the «Mission Control» or «Application windows» view.

In addition, we have continued to make updates to improve connectivity and performance metrics when connecting to Azure Virtual Desktop.

Note that by default subscribed workspaces are refreshed every six hours. This interval can be changed using the ClientSettings.WorkspaceAutoRefreshInterval user default (minimum is 30 minutes and maximum is 24 hours).
