Администраторы и пользователи при работе в сервером 1C установленном на Linux часто сталкиваются с ошибками которые не встречаются на ОС MS Wndows. Связано это с тем что первоначально программа 1С Предприятие долгое время была ориентированна только на работу с ОС Windows и ее портировании на ОС Linux началось сравнительно недавно. Из-за особенностей архитектуры операционной системы Linux, некоторые моменты, которые под ОС Windows были само собой разумеющимися и не вызывали вопросов, тут требуют определенной настройки. Рассмотрим наиболее часто встречающиеся ошибки при работе клиентов с сервером на ОС Linux.

Установим недостающие пакеты(в данном случае необходима была libgsf):

На официальном сайте информационно-технологического сопровождения 1С:Предприятия есть статья о особенность работы 1С под ОС Linux, в которой подробно описано какие библиотеки, шрифты и прочее должны быть установлены для работы с 1С.

При первичном запуске 1С:Предприятия выдается сообщение «На сервере отсутствуют шрифты».

Это не мешает дальнейшему запуску системы. И при последующих запусках ошибка не появляется.

Решение:

Нам понадобятся пакеты шрифтов:

Выполним установку пакетов.

Возникновение данной ошибки возможно, например, при миграции серверов между хостами.

Решение:

1. Выполним перезагрузку сервера

System information (version)

• OpenCV & OpenCV-contrib => 3.4.3
• Operating System / Platform => Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, 64 bit
• Compiler => gcc (Ubuntu 7.3.0-16ubuntu3) 7.3.0
• Python version => Python 2.7.15 :: Anaconda, Inc.
• CUDA version => NVCC 9.0, cuDNN 7.2.1

Detailed description

After I install OpenCV with OpenCV-contrib from source, I got the following error when I try to import OpenCV:

I just finish the compilation without error using:
cmake -D CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=RELEASE \ -D CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/local \ -D INSTALL_PYTHON_EXAMPLES=ON \ -D INSTALL_C_EXAMPLES=ON \ -D WITH_CUDA=OFF \ -D ENABLE_FAST_MATH=1 \ -D CUDA_FAST_MATH=1 \ -D WITH_CUBLAS=1 \ -D BUILD_EXAMPLES=ON \ -D OPENCV_EXTRA_MODULES_PATH=../../opencv_contrib-3.4.3/modules ..
I first tried with CUDA, but because of errors in connection with the version of gcc (NVCC needs version 7 because of the error «-Wimplicit-fallthrough = 3 «unrecognized at 2% compilation). I finally did the compilation without CUDA and I had no compilation error.

I find that other people who have errors like this have had it with Mathematica or Draftsight (for example). However, I do not know how to fix this in the case of OpenCV.

Note that I successfully compiled OpenCV (without CUDA and OpenCV_contrib) yesterday with the same compilation options.

For information, that was the information I get from cmake before compiling. We can see than «freetype2» was correctly identified (even if it seem that it could be the cause of the problem according to some forum of similar trouble on Mathematica)

Wolfram Mathematica after upgrade to Ubuntu 19.04: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libfontconfig.so.1: undefined symbol: FT_Done_MM_Var

I have recently upgraded my desktop PC from Ubuntu 18.10 to 19.04. Now I am getting the following error when I try to start ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶m̶y̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶g̶r̶a̶m̶s̶ Wolfram Mathematica 11.3:

But I am not that advanced linux user to understand what all these things mean.

Has anyone seen this problem?

As noticed by @steeldriver, the problem is specific to Wolfram Mathematica. I solved the issue by following some of the steps from this question: Can’t launch Mathematica 11 on Fedora 29. For the record, I write down here what I did.

Go to MathematicaInstallationDirectory/SystemFiles/Libraries/Linux-x86-64/ (for me it is /usr/local/Wolfram/Mathematica/11.3/SystemFiles/Libraries/Linux-x86-64 ) and run the following commands:

Just to test, I tried to start Mathematica right after renaming the first file, libfreetype.so.6 . It did not work and I got the following error:

But after renaming the second file, everything works fine.

I also updated my Ubuntu from 18.10 to 19.04 and got the same issue. I managed to repair that thanks to some reading (among which @Yauhen’s). Here are the command lines I used:

On 5.13.13-arch1-1 (updated September 1 2021) I had same problem.

After searching and not finding a solution, I copied the previous versions of libz and libfreetype from a working installation of Mathematica and pasted them into Mathematica-FOLDER/SystemFiles/Libraries/Linux-x86-64 .

Now Mathematica works again.

I have provided the two libraries on this Google drive share.

Are the two libraries on the Google drive from your previous versions of libz and libfreetype?

The files are libfreetype.so.6.14.4 and libz.so.1.2.11 I extracted from /usr/lib64/

Somehow I don’t feel comfortable loading binary files from someone’s Google Drive. O.o

Of course, you could extract of a previous version of archlinux or search on web for these libraries.

What would be more useful is the version compatibility match to be listed. What were/are the versions of the libz and libfreetype, and what is the version of Mathematica, with which they are compatible. Also, what were the versions fo the libraries that were incompatible? Please edit your answer and add that information, if you can. Thanks.

Linux libfontconfig so 1

I had trouble using my custom .TTF font, so in the documentations I found this:

I couldn’t figure out how the fontconfig thing works.
How do I create, edit, or configure such a fontconfig file, to work with my custom font?

Silly question but do you have fontconfig installed on your system ?

I found a fontconfig folder (+ files inside) in $QT-4.7.2/config.tests/x11/fontconfig.
I tried to create a Makefile, like the other tools that I’ve already installed, with qmake.
But it somehow didn’t work out correctly. I’m thinking that the fontconfig is in the wrong place?
Is that possible? Where should it be originaly?

First thing: are you locked to that old and outdated version of Qt ? If not please upgrade to Qt 5 or if not possible then Qt 4.8.7 which is the latest and last version available for the Qt 4 series.

I guess that you compiler Qt yourself ? If so, you should add the fontconfig dev packages to your system in order to build Qt with support for it.

@SGaist Yes I’m locked to 4.7.2, and I did not set it up myself.
I got a VirtualMachine with Linux on it and Qt already Setup. That’s why my Qt-knowledge is quite small, I startet working with it few weeks ago.

I hope the fontconfig dev packages are already installed. If not, I can’t do it myself, since I don’t have an active Internet connection on my workstation.

My main problem is, that when I try to run QFontDatabase::addApplicationFont(..) I get a -1 as return, although I use a valid .ttf file as parameter and I think the problem leads to fontconfig.

ATM, this forum is pretty much everything I can rely on.

Worst case, you can use a USB key to get the package from another station on to your virtual machine unless that something that is also locked.

I managed to install freefont on my system, apparently it was not installed already. Now it shows me other errors, that it can’t find the include files. Although I have the include files.

I think either the includes are linked wrong, or I’m missing some installation progress.
btw. I didn’t manage to install the packeges you suggested.

Missing or broken libfontconfig.so.1 library

Description

The Fontconfig library lets Windows applications find and use the system’s TrueType fonts. Without it documents may be rendered with alternative fonts, thus modifying their layout. So it is strongly recommended to install this library for office-type applications.

Resolution

On CrossOver 17 and greater, the simplest solution to fix this issue is to run:
/path/to/cxoffice/bin/cxfix missinglibfontconfig missinglibfontconfig.amd64
Or add —show-all to see how CrossOver would fix it on your platform and others.

Alternatively you may try one of the commands below.

• For 32-bit Windows applications

32-bit Arch Linux : pacman -Syu fontconfig
64-bit Arch Linux : pacman -Syu lib32-fontconfig
Debian : apt-get install libfontconfig1:i386
32-bit Fedora : yum install fontconfig
64-bit Fedora : yum install fontconfig.i686 fontconfig.x86_64
32-bit openSUSE : zypper install fontconfig
64-bit openSUSE : zypper install fontconfig-32bit

• For 64-bit Windows applications

Arch Linux : pacman -Syu fontconfig
Debian : apt-get install libfontconfig1:amd64
Fedora : yum install fontconfig.x86_64
openSUSE : zypper install fontconfig
Notes:

• cxfix —show-all may have more up-to-date fixes.
• The commands usually also apply to derived distributions . So for instance a fix for Debian is typically also applicable to Ubuntu, Linux Mint, Deepin and Pop! OS. Similarly a fix for Fedora likely also works on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, etc.
