JMouse is a small and very basic utility tool which can assign the function of your connect mouse to a connected joystick or joypad.

The program is rather dated but still functions fine on modern operating systems. Its usage is very uncomplicated and includes only a few different inputs for assigning controls. It can also adjust the speed of the cursor.

Apart from assigning buttons, JMouse has no other configuration options. It is completely portable and does not need to be installed on your system. That essentially means JMouse leaves no traces of its existence in your Windows Registry.

The program includes no help files so using it involves just trying it out to see whether it works with your setup.

In the end, JMouse is a small and sometimes handy little tool which allows you to use your joystick as a mouse.

JMouse is a very simple utility that allows you to turn a traditional gamepad into a mouse and use it anywhere on the operating system.

We’re pretty sure it all sounds very complicated and most users are tempted to believe that it’s also a very complex and painful process, but JMouse makes it very easy.

Because there’s nothing more to do than to open the app, configure the buttons and let it run in the System Tray; it waits for your input and doesn’t bother you in any way.

The program provides with the possibility to assign an action for each button, which means every single button on the gamepad could perform a task, regardless if we’re talking about left or right click. Additionally, JMouse sports dedicated options to assign quick center and acceleration functionalit, as well as to define the default speed (which can be slow, normal or fast).

Other than that, JMouse is nothing more than a basic software solution that needs a minimum amount of computer resources to work properly.

Of course, since it’s all so easy to use, JMouse doesn’t even include a help file, but beginners and the most experienced ones should have absolutely no problem. The general idea is that any gamepad should work, as long as it has been successfully connected to your computer.

Overall, JMouse can prove to be a very handy utility for all those users who can’t use a mouse but instead they have a gamepad or a joystick. It boasts a simple interface with intuitive configuration and a few tiny, but useful options, while remaining very light on computer resources.
