The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428dw driver model belongs to the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428 printer series, which contains some of the best professional printers. When copying, the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428dw printer model runs at a speed of 7.2 seconds for the first page from ready mode. The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428dw model can produce up to 80,000 pages at its optimum print capacity in a single month. However, HP recommends a page volume between 750 and 4000 pages in a month.

It runs on a laser print technology whole the best mode produces a print resolution of 1200 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi). Besides, it supports print languages such as HP PCL 5e, HP PCL 6, Native Office, PWG Raster, HP postscript level 3 emulation, URF, Native Office, and a PDF. In comparison, the machine has a display component that is about 6.8 cm (2.7 inches) in an intuitive color touchscreen panel. Its internally build processor also runs at a speed of 1200 MHz.

The model’s mobile printing features include Mopria certification, ROAM quality for easy printing, and Google Cloud printing. Others include HP ePrint, Apple AirPrint, and HP Smart App. This machine is also compatible with dual-band WI-Fi, authentication through a WEP, WPA/WPA2, and WPA enterprise and encryption protocols. HP Printer Driver HPLIP 3.21.4 Released with HP Envy 6400 Support

HP printer drivers for Linux, HPLIP, released version 3.21.4 today with new devices and Linux distros support.

HPLIP 3.21.4 is a small release adds HP Envy 6400 series printers support, and adds new systems LinuxMint 20.1, Debian 10.8 support. Ubuntu 21.04 is not yet supported though it has been released for a few weeks.

And it does not install in Ubuntu 20.04 in my case, though it works in Ubuntu 20.10 and Ubuntu 18.04.

Download & Install HPLIP 3.21.4:

HPLIP packages are hosted on sourceforge.net, go to link below and download the “hplip-3.21.4.run” package:

Then open Downloads folder in file manager, right-click on blank area and select “Open in Terminal”.

When terminal opens, firstly run command to add executable permission to the file:

Then run it to start installing the driver:
