Приложение EOS Utility упрощает передачу изображений с камеры EOS на компьютер. Можно передавать все изображения сразу или выбрать отдельные изображения. Также приложение легко интегрируется с Digital Photo Professional и ImageBrowser EX.

Кроме того, с помощью EOS Utility можно дистанционно управлять камерой с компьютера, используя USB-кабель, по Wi-Fi, если камера поддерживает эту функцию, либо с помощью отдельного беспроводного передатчика файлов (за исключением камеры EOS M).

Приложение EOS Utility включено в начальное установочное ПО для камеры EOS.

Canon eos utility linux

EOS Utility makes it easy to transfer images from your EOS camera to your computer. You can transfer all images at once or select individual images to transfer, it also integrates easily with Digital Photo Professional and ImageBrowser EX.

EOS Utility also allows you to remotely operate the camera from your computer using either a USB cable, via Wi-Fi if your camera includes it or via a separate Wireless File Transmitter (excludes EOS M).

EOS Utility is included in the initial software setup for your EOS camera.

Canon vs Linux

Привет, кенон задолбал своим нежеланием поддерживать линукс. И принтер их у меня был — в линуксе он так и не напечатал ни одной страници. Купил HP, включил — печатает из коробки.

Купил зеркалку кенон, фотографий отснял и п-ц. Хорошо хоть digikam еще не отменили. Хотел попробовать http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6K98ikY-ho а фиг там. Сперва надо винду или макбук, короче офигели. Искал в интернете утилиту canon unity/аналог — нашел вот эту ссылку https://www.petitionbuzz.com/petitions/canoneos4gnulinux

Я в общем понимаю что, вероятней всего, кенону будет наплевать на все эти сигнаруты что там насобираются, тем более из 70 что там есть я насчитал ≈ 30 где указан девайс. Но я блин реально не знаю что еще можно сделать, кроме как пойти и н*ср*ть на коврик перед их офисом.

В общем времени это много не занимает, так что велкам. И если кто знает аналоги кеноновского ПО буду благодарен за ссылку.

Я не силён в парсинге потоков сознания. Можно как-нибудь более конкретно: в чем именно проблема и для чего нужен софт?

Я сам снимаю на canon eos 50D и никогда проблем не испытывал.

какая камера и в чем проблема?

Имхо такой же эффект можно получить с помощью hugin и gimp. Зачем спецутилита?

Canon EOS 600D. Проблема в том что все ПО из комплекда для вин/мак. Хотел снять time laps (по ссылке на ютюбе), если кратко — камера подключается к пк, выставляется общее количесство снимков и интервал между ними. Без ПО не получается

Canon DPP прекрасно работает через WINE. Только обновлять надо через одно место. Остальной софт от Кенона не нужен, т.к. есть уже упомянутый digiKam и Darktable. Последний как каталогизатор не использую, и не знаю, на сколько он готов быть таковым, использую только как редактор; а вот digiKam как каталогизатор значительно лучше, чем EOS Utility, если не говорить о live view через компьютер.

На сколько я помню, Darktable может на минимальном уровне управлять камерой, в т.ч. может устанавливать интервал. Правда, сейчас этот модуль как-то не развивается.

Setup instruction

Please refer to the instructions below on how to download and install the software.
Exit all other applications when installing this software.

1. Download «EU-Installset-M3.11.1.0.dmg.zip» from the download page. Save the «EU-Installset-M3.11.1.0.dmg.zip» file to a folder of your preference on your computer.

2. Double-click the «EU-Installset-M3.11.1.0.dmg.zip» file. After the file is decompressed, the «EU-Installset-M3.11.1.0.dmg» file is created.

3. Double-click the «EU-Installset-M3.11.1.0.dmg» file. After the file is decompressed, the disc image «EU3.11.1» is mounted.

4. Double-click the «eum3.11.1-installer» file in the «EU3.11.1».

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
* This software will be installed together with EOS Utility 2, EOS Lens Registration Tool, and EOS Web Service Registration Tool.

6. After the installation is complete, the EOS Utility installer may ask to restart the computer. In this case, restart the computer. If the installation is completed properly, the downloaded file and the «EU3.11.1» file will not be necessary.
