How to install Bose SoundTouch on Windows?
Instruction on how to install Bose SoundTouch on Windows XP/7/8/10 Pc & Laptop
In this post, I am going to show you how to install Bose SoundTouch on Windows PC by using Android App Player such as BlueStacks, Nox, KOPlayer, .
Before you start, you will need to download the apk installer file, you can find download button on top of this page. Save it to easy-to-find location.

Below you will find a detailed step-by-step guide, but I want to give you a fast overview how it works. All you need is an emulator that will emulate an Android device on your Windows PC and then you can install applications and use it — you see you’re actually playing it on Android, but this runs not on a smartphone or tablet, it runs on a PC.

Step By Step Guide To Install Bose SoundTouch using BlueStacks
Open the apk file: Double-click the apk file to launch BlueStacks and install the application. If your apk file doesn’t automatically open BlueStacks, right-click on it and select Open with. Browse to the BlueStacks. You can also drag-and-drop the apk file onto the BlueStacks home screen
After install, just click Run to open, it works like a charm :D.
How to install Bose SoundTouch on Windows PC using NoxPlayer
Download & Install NoxPlayer at: http://bignox.com. The installation is easy to carry out.
Drag the apk file to Nox and drop it. The File Manager will show up. Click the Open XXX Folder button under the file sign that turns blue.
Then you will be able to install the apk you just download from your computer to Nox or move/copy the file to other locations in Nox.

Manually updating your SoundTouch system
Before you begin
From time to time, updates will be available for your SoundTouch system. When available, the SoundTouch app will prompt you to update upon opening the app. You can also manually check if an update is available in the SoundTouch app by completing the following steps:
In the SoundTouch app, select Menu (≡) > Settings > Speaker Settings. On desktops and tablets, if the Menu icon (≡) is not visible, the slide out menu might already be open
Select UPDATE. If the UPDATE button appears grayed out, there is no update currently available for your system
Note: Updates are released in batches, so not all users receive updates at the same time. It can take up to 2 weeks from a release date before the latest update is available for your system.
If you’re experiencing issues with an update, you can update manually by following the steps below.
Manually updating with a USB cable
You will need a USB A to Micro USB cable to perform these steps.
Select the link below to download the update file
At the prompt, click SAVE to save the Update.stu file to your desktop (do not rename the file). If you do not see the prompt, the file may have downloaded automatically. Look for the Update.stu file in the footer or header of your browser’s window, or in your Downloads folder

How do I assign presets?
Use the app on any smart device or computer to browse to the content you want to set as a preset. You can drag-and-drop or press-and-hold within the app to set a preset. Or, once the content is playing, you can press-and-hold on the product remote or buttons.
What music sources does SoundTouch stream?
SoundTouch systems currently offer Internet radio stations through TuneIn, and music services such as Spotify®, Pandora®, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio™, SiriusXM, Deezer, and QPlay (where available). They also can stream music from a music library stored on a computer or NAS drive.
Every SoundTouch system will receive automatic software updates to add music services and other features as they become available.
For music services not integrated into SoundTouch, connect via Bluetooth® for more listening options such as YouTube.
Do I need a paid subscription to access Amazon Music or Spotify?
Yes, to access all of the amazing features of Amazon Music within SoundTouch you will need an active membership or trial with: Amazon Prime or Amazon Music Unlimited (where available). Similarly, with Spotify, you need to be a premium subscriber.
Can I search through my stored music on the app?
Yes. You can quickly find any song in your personal music library with the app’s advanced search feature.
Can I play podcasts?
Yes. These must be in iTunes or Windows Media Player.
Can I play separate sources on multiple speakers?
Yes, this can be done, but how it works may depend on the sources you have available to you.
How does multiroom “Play Everywhere” work?
Play Everywhere is a one touch feature in the SoundTouch app that takes what you’re listening to in one room, and broadcasts it to all additional SoundTouch products in your home that are connected to your network and associated with your SoundTouch account.
How do I connect via Bluetooth to my system?
Place your SoundTouch product in discoverable mode (this process varies by product), and connect to it within the Bluetooth menu of your mobile device.
How do I add my music services?
Music services are added within the SoundTouch app, using the “Add Service” function in the main menu.
Can two SoundTouch 10 speakers be stereo paired?
Yes, with two SoundTouch 10 speakers, you can separate left- and right-channel audio to form a stereo pair thus creating a wider, more natural sound field.
What is a NAS drive and how can I use it with my system?
A Network Attached Storage (NAS) drive can be used to allow playback of stored music without a computer. We recommend Western Digital MyCloud and Synology drives. Most others will work as well, but have not been as extensively tested.
